It's not luck. It's merit... that's how we began the wonderful and inspiring talk by Lili de Grammont in honor of Women's Day.
Today I felt more emotional than I have in a long time.
Thank you for the wonderful morning The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. and Anna Carolina Hajaje
Yesterday I had the privilege of participating in the event celebrating the 4th anniversary of the Women in Retail Institute at the Apas headquarters. Right from the start, we were struck by the impressive story of artist Lili de Grammont, who narrated her life story marked by the femicide of her mother by her own father in 1981, and the consequences and scars of this tragedy in her life. This story opened our minds to the topics that were discussed from then on.
Femicide, prejudices, women in the job market, women in leadership, taboos, beliefs, facts that we have experienced professionally and personally.
May we have more opportunities like this to come together and understand that we are unique, brilliant and capable!
Throughout the month of March, we will have internal actions about the struggles and achievements of women throughout history. On the 9th, we had an inspiring chat with writer, speaker and dancer Lili de Grammont. She told us her story of overcoming obstacles and the message she wants to convey to people: "During Women's Month, I had the honor of telling my story to VR employees. Talking about the role and strength of women in our society."
A sublime and powerful moment. It was moving to hear Lili de Grammont's life story. An overflow that resonates with so many other stories of violence against women.
It touched me deeply, profoundly, and I was moved to know that this is not a fictional story. It is real. Unfortunately, the reality of many women. We cry with you, Lili.
The greatest delight and surprise, however, despite so much discouragement, was being able to hear from you that "love HEALS."
Every day I choose to believe in the strength and transformative power of love.
There are many of us (the majority of professionals at FIEMG).
Brave. Powerful. Warriors. Leaders. Mothers. Daughters. Women.
Thank you for this opportunity, FIEMG.
Without a doubt, it was the most moving meeting I have ever experienced.
